Pastor Anthony E. Moore has served as the Senior Pastor of the Carolina Missionary Baptist Church for over thirty-two years. Since becoming the fifth pastor of Carolina Church in 1987, under his leadership, the ministry has experienced tremendous physical and spiritual growth. Currently, he is endeavoring to fulfill God’s purpose for His people by erecting a ministry campus that will provide the congregation and surrounding community with a place to worship, educate our children, house persons with chronic illnesses to include mothers who are HIV positive or who have Aids with children. The campus is located in Fort Washington, Maryland where the Family Life Center is in full operation. Upon graduating high school, she continued her educational pursuits at Houston Baptist College in Houston, Texas. Lady Cynthia faithfully serves as the First Lady of the Carolina Missionary Baptist Church, alongside her husband, Pastor Anthony E. Moore. Her southern charm is one of her greatest assets and is well suited and equally important as our ministry is hinged upon southern grace and hospitality. Lady Cynthia has been instrumental in developing the Women’s Ministry through the establishment of PMS Ministry (Positive Minded Sisters), championing AIDS Awareness in Prince George’s County’s Southern district, mentoring and etiquette development among preteens and teenage females, and is committed to furthering the educational efforts of children. She is passionately working alongside Pastor Moore to foster the vision of “The House”, a home for persons living with chronic illness, which will become a thriving, positive response to social needs in the southern portion of Prince George’s County Maryland. She also co-hosts the podcast sensation, Crazy Sassy Cool, with her best friend Veronica Harris. Lady Cynthia’s strength lies in her unwavering and wholehearted support of her husband and Pastor, Anthony Moore.
